I always love how cute cake smashes are for 1 year olds and wished there was something similar for older toddlers. I came across this idea long before I had even started photography or had my own kids and I just fell in love with it. I did it with my oldest when he turned 2 and he was NOT interested, but I knew that Layton had the perfect personality for it. He loves being crazy and messy so I was so excited for his second birthday session!
